Dear Jad and Nazih,
From a dearly loved and well-worn house of worship to a state-of-the-art landmark in the City of Coral Gables, I witnessed firsthand your motto, “From sketched ideas to concrete shapes,” when you took on the task of building St. George’s beautiful new cathedral.
All who attended the consecration of the new St. George Cathedral on November 10, 2002, were truly awe-struck by the quiet elegance yet the commanding respect a building of this magnitude dictated. Your dedication and hard work shows through in the commitment to excellence to the Cathedral and other fine structures in the cities of Miami and Coral Gables. The reputation that preceded you and the one that follows you has reinforced how wise our decision was in the selection of Lahoud and Hardan as the builder of our dream; now reality.
Pride in our Cathedral goes hand in hand with the pride we feel towards the partners, Jad and Nazih, who have worked so hard to share their gifts with the community. It is my prayer that God may continue to bless you both for your good works with success in all of your endeavors.
